If you carry a pen, do you also carry a pencil? Do you carry a marker? Over the years I have carried cheap pens, no pens and a few expencive pens. If using a pen is something you need to do often each day, a high quality pen is a great tool to carry around. We have recenty been carrying multiple pens and markers for various uses. Here are some of them; Yellow Highlighter Marker, Sharpie Fine Point, Silver Fine Tip, Sharpie Ultra Fine Tip, Bic (giveaway), Zebra F-701, Surefire Pen II, and Glock Pen (giveaway)

We saw this Roadside Traffic Camera on I-10 north of Tucson, Arizona. You can see how far away the signs are from the van with the cameras.

We had a chance to test this new version of the Surefire Pen. The SureFire Pen II is a great pen. It is solid, well made and writes every time. The button to extend the writing tip clicks into place silently. The all aluminum body is strong enough to use as a defensive tool if necessary

I bought this battery holder at a gun show a few months back and it has proved to be a real convenience. It holds 12 AA batteries securely. Since the holder can accept the battery either end down, I can also use the Battery Caddy to keep track of used vs new batteries. The batteries are held tightly so they do not rattle or make any noise in the caddy. In order to find the battery caddy in the pockets or pouches we keep it in, I added a 550 cord lanyard with a LED light. This simple modification makes the battery holder easy to find and easy to grab. Eventually I found this Uncle Mikes double magazine pouch which fits the Battery Caddy as if it was made for it
